Leadership Class

The next step for committed students

JK Taekwondo leadership students training together

Learning to Lead

The Leadership Class is for students who have shown they are ready for more than their own training. Members refine their own technique while learning to teach it.

Leadership students assist in class, help newer students find their footing, and take on responsibility for how the dojang runs. It is one thing to perform a form correctly; it is another to explain it to someone who has never seen it before.

That shift, from student to example, is where real confidence comes from.

Respect in Practice

Courtesy and respect are the first things a Taekwondo student learns, and the Leadership Class is where they stop being rules and start being habits.

Leadership students carry themselves differently, in the dojang and outside of it. Parents notice it at home, teachers notice it at school, and younger students notice it most of all.
